FHPM Launches Lending Program to Support Marginalized Communities and Small Businesses
Bremerton, WA – The Foundation for Homeless and Poverty Management (FHPM) is proud to announce the launch of Revive and Reinvest: Building Economic Resilience Together, a new lending program in partnership with the Commerce Reinvestment Program (CRP). This initiative provides loans of up to $20,000 to support startups, small businesses, and individuals, with a focus on Black, Indigenous, and Latine entrepreneurs in Kitsap, Pierce, and Mason counties.
Designed to address systemic financial barriers and support communities disproportionately impacted by the war on drugs, the program aims to foster economic resilience, wealth-building, and equitable access to capital. By offering tailored lending opportunities, FHPM is investing in historically marginalized communities, helping entrepreneurs launch or sustain their businesses and assisting individuals with personal financial needs.
“The Revive and Reinvest program is more than just funding—it’s about creating opportunities, strengthening local economies, and empowering individuals toward long-term financial independence,” said Diana Sullivan, Executive Director of FHPM.
Through this initiative, FHPM continues its mission of addressing poverty by equipping individuals with the tools they need for success. In addition to lending, the program will provide business development training and mentorship to ensure long-term success for participants. Applications for the Revive and Reinvest program will open online on March 3, 2025, and interested entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply at https://bit.ly/ReviveandReinvest..
