FHPM Joins The Great Give to Support BIPOC Communities and Families in Need

Bremerton, WA —The Foundation for Homeless & Poverty Management (FHPM) is excited to participate in the Kitsap Great Give 2025, a powerful 24-hour online giving event that unites the community to support local nonprofits. The FHPM provides Continuum of Care (CoC) services to help overcome systemic barriers, poverty, and homelessness.

This year, FHPM aims to raise funds to expand its programs, including:

  • Fresh Start Grooming – Providing free haircuts and grooming services to individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty, boosting confidence and self-esteem.

  • Afterschool Tutoring – Supporting McKinney-Vento students with safe study spaces, free internet, and academic mentorship to ensure educational success.

  • NOW Program – Offering immediate assistance to prevent homelessness, including rental support, lease deposits, transportation, and school-related needs.

"We believe in the power of collective giving," said Diana Sullivan, Executive Director of FHPM. "Every donation made during the Kitsap Great Give helps us provide life-changing resources and opportunities to the communities that need them most."

Early giving is now open, allowing donors to make an impact ahead of the main event. You don't have to be rich. You can give as little as $10. On March 11, 2025, supporters can make a meaningful impact by donating at https://www.kitsapgreatgive.org/organization/Fhpm. Contributions of any size will directly benefit FHPM's mission to uplift and empower those who face the most significant challenges in our community.

Join us in making a difference—together, we can create lasting change.
